At 2 years 2 1/2 months, I finally took Lydia to get her first hair cut. She says it hurts whenever I touch her hair with a comb so I was a little worried she would not like the hair cut. We talked about it for a few days so she'd be ready. She was scared at first, but a strawberry lollipop helped ease her fears (her first lollipop too)!
Nana: Can Nana have your paci?
Lydia: No
Nana: But I don't have a paci.
Lydia: It's in your bed.
Certainly Lydia doesn't really think adults have pacis in their bed too! It's time to go.

This is so cute!!! I love children. They say the most "ADORABLE" things.
I love the pictures of her sitting in the chair with the lollopop hanging out of her mouth :) She looks like she is enjoying the haricut, but you can tell that she has her "eye" on this lady with the scissors.
Way to be a big girl Lydia :) You look beautiful.
some great first... and cute convo about the paci... so cute.
So cute! Love the lollipop. Logan was 2 1/2 when we accidentally left his pacis at home when leaving for a trip - it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! Good luck :)
so serious, Liddy! I want to see an 'after' picture!
I'm sure that if she's scared at her first dentist visit, they will just give her a lollipop there too ;)
Love the paci conversation...kids are too funny!
I want to see an after picture with her hair dried! Hope all is well!
Good Job Lydia..we need to see you after though! Arn't lollipops the BEST...my feeling is that every mother should have at least 2 in her purse at all times..you just never know when you might REALLY need one!
