Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day with Dan's parents at their Lake Conroe house. Liddy and I took naps while the rest of the family spent some time on the lake. Once Liddy fits into a life jacket, she'll get to go out on the boat too! For now, she really loves the play mat and tries to talk to anyone who will listen.

...and then there were none

Brent, my little brother and baby of the family, married Cate Johnson on May 17th. We packed up Lydia and all her gear for the trip to Dallas for the wedding. Lydia met her Aunt Amy and Uncle Jeremy, Uncle Brett, and Great Grandma Cripe for the first time. Daddy had to sit out from the actual wedding ceremony with Lydia (someone was cranky from a missed nap), but they came back for pictures. Newlywed Uncle Brent had to remind Lydia that the day was not about her...she was stealing all the attention during pictures!

The wedding and reception were lovely and relaxing. It was truly a time to enjoy family and the new marriage. Brent and Cate, we love you and hope you enjoy married life!
