Fort Worth Zoo

On our way back from Waxahachi, we spent the morning at the Fort Worth Zoo.  It is my new favorite, mostly because of all the shade and all the things for little kids to touch (things you don't mind them touching!).  It also had some animals we were not able to see at our Houston Zoo (penguins, kangaroos, etc).  Super fun time.

And then another farewell on the 4th!

After Amy and her family left us (tears), she texted and invited us to Waxahachi for the 4th of July! I'm so glad we loaded up the family for the quick visit.  We even got to see Steph and Jon and meet baby Matheson.
