Our Trip to Atlanta

Dan, Lydia, and I flew to Atlanta and drove to Buckhead, Georgia on Friday to visit Dan's grandparents (Papa and Nanny). I'd love to report that flying with a 3 month old was easy...but that would be lying. I was smart enough, however, to capture the Lydia's first flight with pictures at the start of the trip while she was still happy! Dan's parents also came for the weekend. So we had 4 generations together. We walked to a nearby farm and pet the horses. The picture is dark and grainy, but look at Lydia's face when the horse came close to her...she wants that horse to step back! Lydia entertained the whole family with her talking and squealing.

(I do not know how to rotate these videos...can anyone tell me how?)
Dan's Nanny is having back surgery next month, please pray for the doctors and nurses that care for her during the operation and recovery. Dan and I are glad we made the trip to see Papa and Nanny. (My suitcase decided to stay and did not make it home.)

I'm glad you guys got to see them and for them to meet Lydia...I think she's starting to look more like you :) At least you lost your suitcase on the way home and not on the way there!

HOw much fun... I love the generation pictures...and glad to hear that she was at least good at the beginning of the flight... she is getting to see so much and man is she cute... I love that you guys look so good as parents and having so much fun. We will pray for your granddad and sorry to hear about the suitcase.

Thanks for your comment on my blog.. I need some renee time too... how do we do that... I guess you will have to come see us... how do you think Lydia will do on a 23 hour flight... lots of drugs is all I have to say.

Also about your videos I had that same problem... and my Dad and IT guro said that they have things online that you can play with video footage... you are good at getting some good resources on-line so check it out.
