It was a pretty cool setting for a party. I would have taken more pictures...but I didn't want to look like a completely nerdy tourist with a party full of NYC locals.

Lydia and Henry spent four days with Nanny and Pops (Dan's parents). When we got home Friday night around 8pm, Lydia was all prepped for a "surprise." WE were the surprise, but she's a smart cookie and wanted a real surprise. It's a good thing we picked up a lipsmackers in CVS (I needed to warm up halfway through our 9 block walk to Bloomingdale's....it was COLD) that morning. Lydia's first "lipstick" was a big hit!

Hey girl.... we love NYC and glad you got a get away... and yes I agree that cake was amazing... wow weee.... and yes lets meet in NYC to go shopping... we could stay with Erin Hardy and get our shopping on... better start saving now :-)... when are we going???
Wow!! You both got to go to New York City for Dan's company party? Now that is what I call a party! I cannot believe they flew both Dan and you all the way to New York for the party :) I am jealous!! Not fair!!
I am glad you both enjoyed your self. How long were you in the "BIG APPLE"?? Where did you stay?? I love New York!! Serg has never been but I am hoping I can take him someday!
BTW.....That cake is unreal! How did they cut it?? Did it taste as good as it looks??
That is so funny that she really wanted a real surprise..shows how important we think we are as parents sometime...not very!!!! Cool cake...did a fancy place make it? Wasn't it nice to be able to eat meals and not have to get paper towel out after to clean up faces and under chairs!!!
