This picture is an overgrown reminder of what I had to look past when I first visited what is now my house. I really should be grateful to the forest...it probably detracted many buyers from even considering the house. We had several trees cut down and others trimmed, regraded the yard, installed drainage and a sprinkler system, planted new sod and plants, and replaced the country blue shutters with dark green ones. It will take a few years for the new bushes and plants to fill out, but I'm already excited to plant spring flowers to add a little color.
Home sweet home.

What an improvement!! Can't wait to see it in just a few weeks!
WHOA! What a huge improvement. Y'all have done such a great job. I'm sad I'll miss seeing you in February but hopefully I'll be back soon and can meet sweet Henry too!
Wow! What a difference it makes. You've got a lovely home.
And I was just saying last night that I wanted to see the landscaping in the daylight! haha. Thanks for the post!
What a change!! Hopefully your little plants are still hanging in there...most of mine are dead from the freeze...tear.
It is beautiful and the inside too... so good to see you today and thanks for the great birthday suprise... love you.
great job - hope you didn't loose too much with your cold weather
It is amazing what some tree trimming will do! There is a house in our neighborhood for sale. The trees are horrible, we know it would sell if they would trim those trees! It looks great! Love the shutters.
Wow!! Your home is absolutely Beautiful!!
You did a lot of "curb appeal" work!! It does not even look like the same house. It looks fresh and new! I love it!! Way to go!!
