So that's the end of my fun trip to Amy's house. Back to Houston tomorrow (still no power at our house).

Fresh Blackberries
Mom found an abundance of wild blackberries ready for the picking just a few streets away from Amy's house. These pictures show all the jars of jam, a cobbler, and a pie she made with the berries. We also ate them on our cereal, yogurt, ice cream, and pancakes all week long! Amy and I picked another bunch of berries for a pie for Jeremy who just got home from a 2 week business trip.

Are you guys going to open a shop? wow I have never seen so many jam jars... that is amazing... your mom is such a good cook... what a great memory and be safe going back home.
Christina told me all about your mom's crazy berry habit, but I didn't realize how bad she had a thing for berries :)! Great pictures! It is nice to hear from you, and see your growing family (your daughter is adorable!). Hope your power is up and running soon! Any word on that?
Oh Nee, this was so fun to see. I have been hearing about these berris for 2 weeks now. So glad she never ran into any bears!
Lydia must love Nana's berries... she is putting some serious effort into opening up that jar.
