What a mess!

Let the reconstruction begin! We are finally replacing the siding on our house. The big truck arrived in the morning with supplies. It was an adventure to watch everything get unloaded.
This might be the last smile until the project is done (in two weeks). The banging all day long is quite irritating.
Down with the old.

2011 Holidays

We spent Thanksgiving in Corpus Christi (no pictures) with my parents. Over the holiday, Amy and Jeremy moved from Seattle back to the Woodlands! We are thrilled to have them in the Houston area. Amy and I quickly set up fun activities so we can get together with the kids almost every week.

We enjoyed Christmas in Conroe with the Westcott side of the family. Dan's grandpa, Papa, came from Atlanta for the Holiday. It was a treat to see him. Lydia loved him!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Since my 31st birthday is a few days, I thought I'd play catch up and share about my 30th Birthday! In September, my mom, sisters, and sister-in-law Lauren spent a long weekend with me in Boston to celebrate my OLD AGE. We had a wonderful time visiting (soooo much talking), sight-seeing, and eating, eating, eating. I can't wait until another sister gets old enough to justify another trip for all of us!

A sister she will be!

Lydia went to my ultrasound appointment with me today where we found out we are having a baby girl! Everything looked great. Now we get to decide on a name (although Lydia thought the doctor would tell us the baby's name)!

New Poll

I added a poll to the side of my blog page. You've got a week to vote on Baby #3....oh, I'm pregnant again.

The deaf shall hear

Henry had surgery to place tubes in his ears and remove his adenoids on September 2, right after we got back from our visit to Amy's house. He didn't even cry until he started waking up! The nurses just thought he was so cute.
(playing in his gown before surgery)
(taking his time waking up...even mom got a nap)
We noticed right away that he could hear more sounds...his eyes were all over the place, turning side to side to see what "that" was! It's been a few weeks and the tubes are draining well (and often).
